Video Mentorship Series
ASCRS Video Mentorship Series is a series of intraoperative video-based coaching sessions, presented in the webinar format, with the goal of sharing operative techniques and improving procedural confidence.
A curriculum has been established that focuses on one step of one procedure (for example splenic flexure takedown). The steps identified in the curriculum will each be the topic of a webinar in the series. During the webinar, the videos will be presented anonymously. Moderators will review and provide commentary on several videos on the webinar topic and respond to questions submitted by attendees in real time.
The Video Mentorship Series is intended for the education of colon and rectal surgeons, general surgeons, colorectal fellows in training, and residents.
