This webinar will provide an opportunity to review the evaluation and management of frailty and how it impacts outcomes for older adults undergoing colorectal surgery. An example of a systematic program to provide high quality care for older adults undergoing surgery through the American College of Surgeons (ACS) Geriatric Surgery Verification (GSV) Program will also be highlighted. Finally, we will have a case presentation to discuss clinical aspects of frailty and how to optimize outcomes for frail surgical patients.
